Richard Akcayli

I graduated from the University of The West Indies where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. During my degree, I sparked up a lot of interest in finance and investing learning about equities, funds, real estate investing, and other types of investments. My passion in investing led me to pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst program and I am currently enrolled for the May 2023 Level 2 exam.

I consider myself highly disciplined and motivated. In High School I have shown leadership and responsibility. For this reason, I was elected Head Boy for my final year and was awarded Student of The Year 2015. As Head Boy, I was expected to act as a role model for the other students and represented the school on formal occasions.

I have two years of corporate experience after completing my BSc in Accounting. I also have expertise in finance from pursuing the CFA. 

I have 2 years of experience in the corporate world after working for a consulting firm for Section 8 materials in construction. 

I passed the Chartered Financial Analyst Level I exam in May 2022. I graduated from the University of The West Indies in 2020 with a BSc in Accounting.
