- Improve and streamline processes and flows to increase the effectiveness and efficiency to enhance the supply chain capabilities and to reduce cost.
- Proactively lead and empower the supply chain team to encourage operational excellence. collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Works closely with the company leaders to ensure the Supply Chain Department operates effectively and efficiently.
- Develop andimplementKPIs to measure:
- Logistics: On Time Delivery, Stock Days, Out of Stock, Stock Obsolescence, Damaged Products, Returns, Logistics Costs and 3PL Performance,
- Procurement: Compliance Rate, Purchase Order Cycle Time, Purchase Price Variance, Purchase Order Coverage, Supplier Quality Rating
- Provide regular progress and status reports to the top management.
- Support new projects of the company.
- Plan and order products and materials according to company plan, forecasts, and days of stock targets.
- Lead the procurement of direct and indirect goods and services,
- Run the tenders and taking an active role in the decision making,
- Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers,
- Manage and minimize operational or reputational risks that could affect or interrupt the supply chain,
The Successful Applicant - University degree preferably in Engineering
- 15+ years work and minimum 7 years managerial experience in logistics, inventory management, order fulfilment, planning, purchasing and supply chain systems.
- Experience in continuous improvement.
- Solution oriented with a high sense of quality.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to work comfortably with SAP S/4HANA, Warehouse Management Systems, MS Office software and eager to learn other systems of the company.
- Results oriented team player with superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and results-oriented work environment.
