At Canonical, we're changing the world of software by publishing Ubuntu, one of the most important open-source projects. We're seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team that develops microservices powering our global software distribution engine.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a remote team of engineers
• Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
• Set and manage expectations with other engineering teams
• Collaborate with other leaders in the organisation

We expect our Engineering Managers to be technically strong, but their main responsibility is to run an effective team and develop colleagues. You'll develop and review code as a leader, ensuring the team is focused, productive, and unblocked.
