Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Finance to join our finance team in Istanbul.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Turkish GAAP and IFRS.
Monitor and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities; track variances and provide insights to management.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
Collaborate with business units to evaluate financial implications of operational decisions.
Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditures.
Continuously review and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus.
5+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably within multinational companies.
Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting standards, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
