We are looking for a Tax Assistant Manager to be assigned to our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is preferred
Minimum 5 years of tax experience with a significant amount of time, tax compliance, planning, and strategy
Proficient in analyzing financial data, identifying tax implications, and making informed decisions to optimize tax outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals effectively
Proven ability to lead and develop a team, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive results
Act as a liaison with local tax authorities and ensure timely responses to inquiries and correspondence
Support and manage tax audits and inspections conducted by the tax authorities
Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their potential impact on the company
Meticulous and accurate in reviewing tax documents and preparing tax returns to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws
Capable of identifying tax-related challenges and proposing practical solutions to mitigate risks
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to changing tax laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Monitor and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
Review and control tax returns prepared by group companies or external advisors
Act as the main point of contact for tax authorities
Coordinate and manage tax audits and inspections
Conduct internal tax compliance checks and risk assessments
Track legislative changes and evaluate their impact on the group
Support internal stakeholders with technical tax guidance
