- Responsible for the legal entity full set up, following local legislation and market regulations. Responsibilities include functional, operational, contracts management and risk management;
- Responsible for country growth, sales organization effectiveness, risk management and leadership development;
- Setting sales strategy vision and drive the sub-region commercial team to support the product portfolio;
- Ensuring that broad organizational and market strategies are translated into clear objectives, metrics, and action plans;
- Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors;
- Providing leadership, coaching and development for the commercial team to attract, retain and build a strong talent pipeline;
- Managing resources to address customer needs and expectations as they develop close relationships with external stakeholders, such as physicians and hospital leaders;
- Achieving operating and strategic goals;
- Establishing sales quotas for relevant sales team in all categories;
- Constantly reviewing all sales activities, targets, and strategies to maximize results;
- Monitoring results closely and course-correct regions below plan;
- Developing tactics and strategies to develop long-term commitment with key customers;
- Participating in the sales planning, sales strategies, territorial coverage, and budgeting processes;
- Developing a team concept and feeling within the sales and territory managers to foster collaboration. The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 15 years' experience in sales, marketing or related field.
- Plan and manage budget for the region, understanding the financial and operational levers and variables that affect margins, control expenses, and ensure a sound bottom line in their areas.
- Demonstrate personal leadership.
- Ability to develop and set up the company's structure or the department's processes and structure. Aptitude to introduce and supervise the changes required by the situation, and to control and manage business, drive organizational strategy.
- Manage execution. Set and drive targets and communicate specific goals to their teams.
- Resource management. Prioritize activities to allocate resources appropriately to the most critical needs.
- Be able to review and monitor relevant information and market intelligence to make accurate decisions about which situations to focus on, what business opportunities to prioritize, and what challenges to address.
- Build high-performance sales manager and sales teams. Attracting, hiring, retaining, and developing first line managers. Additionally, they must put in place effective training programs to build product knowledge and selling techniques.
