Senior QA/QC Engineer
GAN Engineering is seeking a highly experienced
Senior QA/QC Engineer
to join our team for international heavy industry projects involving fuel storage tanks, pressure vessels, steel structures, and energy equipment manufacturing.
This role requires a hands-on professional capable of managing quality systems, shop-floor inspections, and international client audit processes in an integrated and accountable manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum
5 years of QA/QC experience
in heavy industry, steel fabrication, tank & pressure vessel manufacturing, or energy equipment projects - Strong practical knowledge of welded fabrication processes (WPS, PQR, WPQR)
- Solid experience in ISO 9001 quality management systems implementation
- Familiarity with international standards such as EN, ISO, API, ASME
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
- Experience in inspection planning and documentation (ITP, NCR, inspection reports, quality dossiers)
- Proven coordination capability between production, site, and engineering teams
- Advanced English proficiency; capable of independently managing international customer communication, technical meetings, contractual quality discussions, and audit processes while representing the company in global projects
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
- Willingness to actively work on the shop floor and project sites
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute QA/QC activities throughout manufacturing and assembly stages
- Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection procedures
- Prepare, control, and maintain project-specific quality documentation
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and project-specific quality requirements
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations
- Represent the company during client inspections, third-party audits, and project reviews
